Instructions

Season the beef patty with a pinch of salt and pepper on both sides. If you want extra flavor, add a dash of garlic powder or Worcestershire sauce.

In a separate pan, melt a teaspoon of butter. Place the burger buns, cut side down, in the pan and toast for 1-2 minutes until golden and crisp.

Prepare the buns by spreading the ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on the toasted buns. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.

Preheat your grill or pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the beef patty on it. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, or until browned.

Flip the patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes. During the last minute, place the cheese slice on top and cover with a lid to help it melt.

Place the cheese-covered beef patty on top, then close with the top bun. Your cheeseburger is ready to be devoured! Serve with fries or your favorite side dish.
Tips and Substitutions
